A number of SU users have reported receiving an e-mail with the Subject line: Important Message About Your Shenandoah University Account. This is a spam/scam e-mail.
The e-mail provides a link to "confirm" your webmail details and has a https link to www.su.edu.
If you receive this e-mail DO NOT click on the link. The site it takes you to trys to steal your SU Google Apps password.
If you have clicked on the link you need to change your SU Google Apps password ASAP.
To do this go to the login page for Blackboard and before you login to Blackboard click on the link, below the login area, labeled Change Google Password.
IC is looking into this e-mail and has worked with Google to improve the spam filters to better block this type of message.
