As of August 1, the new Blackboard Content Editor was activated on our server. This content editor is what we used to refer to as the “Virtual Text Box Editor” or ‘text editor’.
Most importantly, by default the content editor has only one row of commands or icons (simple) mode. You must click the little down-arrow in the upper right hand corner to expand the menu to the full four rows (advanced mode). Below is the simple view.
